Members of the bereaved families are invited to the state memorial ceremony, which will be held:
On Monday, 24 Tishrei 5787, 5 October 2026
At the monument in memory of the victims of hostile actions on Mount Herzl, Jerusalem.
Participation in the ceremony is conditional on advance online registration.
Please note that registration does not constitute admission to the ceremony.
After your booking is confirmed, a barcode will be sent to you, which you will be required to present at the entrance to the ceremony complex.
Entry of invited participants will be permitted from 12:00 until 13:45.
Because of the security screening, it is recommended to arrive early.
- Entry will be through the main (civil) gate to Mount Herzl.
- Entry to the complex with a weapon will not be permitted, and it will not be possible to deposit a weapon at the entrance.
- Please avoid arriving with luggage.
- Vehicles will not be allowed onto Mount Herzl. It will be possible to reach the area by light rail.
- You must bring an identity document. Anyone holding a disability card is asked to bring it as well.
Transportation to the ceremony
The National Insurance Institute is organizing transportation to the ceremony from a number of pick-up points around the country.
Registration for transportation is done within the online form for registering to attend the ceremony.
You can register for transportation until Thursday, 24 September 2026 at 11:00.
- Registration for transportation is conditional on registration to attend the ceremony.
- You must arrive at the pick-up point 15 minutes before the pick-up time.
- Where several family members wish to travel by the organized transportation, a transportation request must be marked for each family member separately on the online registration form.
